Cancer Resources
Lance Armstrong Patient Resource Center
The Information and Referral Resource Center offers a warm, accepting atmosphere and a sense of support and concern. Experiencing this kind of security can ease the patient and their family's feelings of panic and isolation. We help to ease fears by offering straightforward information and access to support groups to let the patients and caregivers know they are not alone.
Developed in conjunction with the American Cancer Society, the Resource Center offers an array of information and local resources on prevention, early detection, treatment, education and support programs. Items available at the Center include literature, videos, wigs and head coverings. All items in the resource center are free of charge. On site, a person may also log on to the Internet to research the latest information available on the web.
