Yellow & Black Tie Gala

The Methodist Richardson Medical Center Foundation fundraising gala benefits Methodist Richardson Cancer Center. For more information, see our Gala page.

WildRide! Against Cancer

The annual bike rally is held every May in conjunction with the annual WildFlower! Arts and Music Festival. It attracts more than 2,000 cyclists and hundreds of walkers/runners from across North Texas and raises funds for Methodist Richardson Cancer Center, home of the Lance Armstrong Shaped Beam Surgery™ Program.

Capital Campaign

A new 50,000-square-foot building opened at our Bush/Renner campus in October 2008 to provide enhanced care for North Texas, offering multiple cancer specialists in one location, convenient access to clinical research, preventive and integrative therapies, and advanced technology. Personalized service from diagnosis to recovery will provide a compassionate circle of care for patients and families.

Programs

In addition to annual campaigns, capital building campaigns and special projects/programs, the Foundation raises funds through honorariums, memorials, the Grateful Patient Program and special events – a gala dinner every fall and the annual WildRide! Against Cancer & 5K Trail Walk in the spring. The Foundation also seeks funding and grant support from charitable foundations of all types, corporations, area community organizations, and individuals.
