The Methodist Richardson Sleep Disorders Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). The center is one of only a few labs in the metroplex to achieve the stringent quality standards of the AASM.
Since 1986, this specialized center provides patients with accurate diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related problems. More than 130 million Americans suffer from various sleep-related problems. An estimated 40 million of those are suffering from a sleep disorder. Unfortunately, many go undiagnosed and untreated.
Sleep disorders can cause problems falling asleep and staying asleep; difficulties staying awake or adhering to a consistent sleep/wake cycle; sleepwalking; bedwetting and nightmares. Sleep apnea – momentary cessation of breathing while sleeping – is among the most common of sleep disorders. It can interrupt sleep hundreds of times a night.

Dr. Gregory H. Foster is a native of Michigan. He attended Wayne State University and completed his pulmonary and critical care training at Henry Ford Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine and board certified in pulmonary and critical care.
